Are you 'sew-challenged'?
Do you look at people who could sew with longing eyes and wish you could pick their talent?
Have you ever felt frustrated at having to miss a great project just because you don't know to sew ?
Welcome to the club! You are at the right place.
I really wish I could sew and even have plans of picking it up real soon. But I just cannot wait till I master it.
"There is always solution to problems and there is always 'glue' for people who are 'sew challenged'"
So what are you waiting for! Grab your fabric and glue.Lets get to the making of these cute pouches which can be done in less than 10 minutes excluding the time for the glue to dry.
What you need -
Fabric - You can use any fabric which also includes old t shirts, jeans or fabric scraps.
Glue - You can use any fabric glue, super glue.I had E6000 which did the job for me.
Zipper - You can get zippers from any local craft store or if you have the talent, you can even get the zippers off any old pants.
Fabric Measurement :
11" * 6" fabric
1. Lay the fabric with the wrong side facing up.Fold about half inch from both the shorter sides of the fabric.Iron the folds to make it firm.
2. Place the zipper (right side facing up) to the center of the fabric as shown.
3. Glue both the shorter ends to the zipper as shown.
4. Allow it to dry for at least an hour.
5. Carefully turn your fabric inside out and glue the remaining two sides. Allow it to dry for an hour.
Turn your fabric right side out and you can now give yourself a pat for all the hard work !! Your pouch is now ready to use !!
Tips :
1.You can easily customize the size of your pouch using the below guideline :
The width of your fabric (6") = length of your zipper (6")
The length of the fabric (11") -> Two times the length you want your pouch to be + 1"
2. You can use these pouches to hold your pencils/pens,make up accessories, craft supplies etc.
