Every morning I get bored of having either cereal or pancakes and I wanted to have something different for breakfast, so decided to make a healthy avocado sandwich. 1. Rich source of fiber, potassium and folate.

You must have heard about the avocado dip for tortillas, I decided to make a similar spread for bread, which is a healthy and fulfilling alternate. You can make it a complete meal with your choice of fresh juice or smoothie. This is a quick and easy recipe made with healthy ingredients.
Ingredients
Avocado ( Ripe)

Onion ( finely chopped)

Tomato (remove the inside seeds and finely chopped)

Green chili (finely chopped)

Cilantro (finely chopped)

Method
- The avocado chosen for the sandwich should be ripe one. How will you find a good ripe avocado? it should be dark green color outside and if u slightly press with your finger it is soft.
- Cut open the avocado into two halves and scoop out the pulp with spoon into a wide bowl.Mash the pulp with a potato masher or spoon without any lumps into a smooth paste(like a texture of butter).
- Now add onion,tomato,green chili and cilantro into the mashed avocado pulp.Mix well.
- Finally add salt, chat masala, pepper powder and squeeze in the lemon and mix well once again, so that all the ingredients blends in with the pulp.
- Take two slices of bread. Toast the butter side in the skillet for a while until it turns light golden brown color.
- Once done take it out from the skillet and apply the spread like butter in one side,then close the other side as such.
- Now toast the sandwich with little butter on both side. Wait until both side turns light golden brown in color.
- Ready to be served hot or warm with juice or smoothie of your choice :)

Tips
- You can also add vegetables of your choice like carrot, capsicum etc.
- You can add grated cheese in the spread before toasting it.
- You can also have this sandwich for your lunch with cut fruits or juice or even with a smoothie, which will be a complete diet meal for a day.
- For this sandwich the avocado should be ripe one.
