DIY Desk Organizer
Posted by
Ranjani
Does your desk look like a crime scene or like it has been
ransacked? My desk always looks like one and I am definitely not proud of it. I
cannot say I am totally a messy person but yes; I can definitely be better
organized which is in fact my New Year 2014 resolution. An organized home
doesn’t exactly be a picture perfect home and clutter is definitely not a
character defect. If only organizing our home was as easy as pinning the
organization ideas and tips on Pinterest to our boards... Sigh :( :( ! So let us start with simple organizing ideas which could collectively make a huge difference. Last week, I had posted a simple earring organizer which I am glad many of you liked. Thanks for all the sweet responses which made me come up with the desk organizer for this week. Are you ready? Here we go...

Tawa Idly
Posted by
Unknown
One cold rainy evening, my stomach started to growl! I went to the refrigerator and saw leftover idlis from yesterday (it looked so inviting to me :-)). I wanted something spicy, so I decided to make "Tawa Idly" with vegetables in a very simple way. The main flavor of tawa idly is the "pav bhaji masala" and squeezing of lemon, which gives some tangy taste to your taste buds.

Banana Ice-cream

I have been a sweetaholic since I was a kid. My mom always say that I have this mysterious extra space for desserts and fruits in my tummy. I am glad that you all liked my favorite avocado milkshake recipe. Today I am back with one more creamilicious, healthy and simple dessert recipe - Banana ice-cream !!
No milk, no ice-cream maker, no hard-to-pronounce ingredients !! All you need is a banana. Today I am going to show you how to use up that over-ripe banana lying in your counter.

PAV BHAJI MASALA

I remember the first time I had Pav Bhaji Masala in a place called Gangotree Chat house in Chennai. The very moment I fell in love with the aromatic smell of the butter in the pav and the masala. For a long time, I was craving for Pav Bhaji masala ;) so i decided to do this yummy chat recipe. Whenever I go out, I order pav bhaji or bhel puri, without a second thought. They are my all time favourite chat. Pav Bhaji is easy to make, it has almost all vegetables. I followed a simple version of this chat recipe. Here we go with the recipe.

Earrings Holder

I am sure many of you will join hands with me when it comes to earrings love. I always feel that a matching earring is the 'cherry on top' to any outfit. Now that we have a reason for our love, the question is, how do you organize them? I used to keep all my earrings in a jewelry box which becomes messy in few days. Right when I think, an earring would go perfect with my outfit, I would realize one of them is missing or entangled with another or lets just say - gets too difficult to figure where it is.
I came across this simple DIY project on Pinterest and just because the same idea was pinned by so many out there, it motivated me further to give it a try. So this is for all of you who have not read about it already. This organizer is specific to dangling earrings. I will come up with another organizer for studs when it works best for me.

Cilantro/Coriander storage
Posted by
Ranjani
Cilantro/coriander comes in a much bigger bunch than I intend to use at one time.So whenever I buy them, I end up throwing most of it away as they turn black so quick. But it has never stopped me from getting them every time I hit the grocery store ...and each time, with a firmer resolve to use them wisely. But it has always been a shame to see those lovely fresh cilantro go waste.

Potato is considered as universal favorite but not mine!! Until one day when I went to a dhaba with my friends, I ordered a big glass of lassi and my friends ordered aloo parathas. Hot aloo parathas were on the table but lassi took ages, I was so hungry that I couldn't resist taking a bite of paratha. That's it I fell in love and it became my most favorite punjabi dish ever!

Few things make us feel more special than an expensive gift, music video is one among them. Raise your hand if you feel you don't have an artsy bone in your body, Don't worry! You can do this :)
For my hubby's birthday, I put together a 1 min video with sweet messages and our favorite song. It took me just 2-3 hours to do this, trust me it is so much fun.
